CALL FOR PAPERS

It is our privilege that the JOURNAL OF INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY (ISSN: 2709-0485) invites academics, experts, and practitioners to submit unpublished and original scholarly papers for publication. JIDS is an interdisciplinary open-access, the peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Forum of Inclusive Development and Sustainability Studies (FIDSS). The aim is to encourage social scientists, economists, folklorists, psychologists, development scholars, agriculturalists, environmentalists and interdisciplinary researchers publish their empirical, experimental, theoretical, policy, and translational research works in as much detail as possible.
We encourage articles from all disciplines of scholarship to the study includes but not restricted to poverty, inequality, vulnerability, agriculture, agronomy and agricultural extension, agro-ecology, food security, nutrition, livelihoods, environment, ecosystems, climate change, civil defense, disaster management, social, institutional & human capital, microfinance, biodiversity, sustainability, rural & urban issue, homelessness, refugee, migration, diaspora, public health, epidemiology, community development, tourism, politics, government & public policy, folkloristics, indigeneity, informal, and formal economy, sexualities and genders research, women empowerment, foreign aid & foreign investment, entrepreneurship, financial development, trade, economic development in aligning with issues of SDGs.
We aim to provide a platform for rigorous intellectual and academic research as well as studies that are practical and relevant to everyday solutions and policymaking. Articles should address problems and prospects from theoretical, empirical, or analytical perspectives prevalent in academic disciplines. Articles must be grounded in theory, analysis, and reference work, and be able to address readers beyond the specific fields they represent. Manuscripts must be written in Harvard referencing style, the guidelines for which are provided in the Author Guide.
JIDS considers both short communications and full-length articles. Analysis of recent developments, short reviews of recently published books or research articles, and comments on specific issues should be limited to about 2,500 words. A full-length article is expected to be between 3,500-6,500 words (no more than 10 tables/ figures with any combination), provide a reasonable review of the literature, and clearly articulate the nature of the problem addressed. JIDS also invites critiques of published articles to foster debate and discussion. JIDS will seek a response from authors whose papers are critiqued.
JIDS publishes two issues per year and accepts submissions round the year.
